The Schwartz Foundation enjoys fundraising for large and small education organisations. In particular, we possess a strong belief in education and helping schools to raise money for special projects and initiatives to help young minds grow.
The Schwartz Foundation has fully paid for the printing of 60,000 textbooks, and assisted in the teaching of this module within schools, which empowers children to become socially responsible global citizens.
How does the Schwartz Foundation help schools around Australia? The Schwartz Foundation enjoys fundraising for large and small education organisations. We strongly believe in education and helping schools to raise money for their various projects is always a high priority for us.
In order to show our support for school fundraising we initiated a program through our Rydges Hotel at World Square in Sydney. We wrote to over 100 regional schools offering to provide vouchers for the schools to use for in fundraising raffles or during their special event days throughout the year. The schools were offered complete flexibility with respect to how the voucher could be best used to support the schools fundraising or education development activities.
The program has proven a hit with these school communities, as travelling to Sydney from regional areas can be quite expensive! Our vouchers were accepted with open arms and used in a variety of ways to raise money for the schools. We received an amazing array of Thank You notes, certificates, letters and drawings from the kids.
This was a Win-Win situation, as we believed this was a wonderful way to promote Rydges World Square Hotel to regional areas, and it also turned out to be great for the schools and the kids.
