Supporting Jesuit Social Services
The Schwartz Foundation is also an active financial sponsor of Jesuit Social Services. It is involved with two major projects:
- Assisting a program which facilitates finding work in the community for disadvantaged people
- Providing a central city venue, in Melbourne, in the Victoria Hotel, for offices, and counselling rooms for grief counselling for the family of those who have committed suicide

On Thursday June 17th 2010 the Vinnies CEO Sleepout took place in capital cities around Australia. Dr Jerry Schwartz slept out in the cold at Luna Park to raise money for 100,000’s of homeless men & women who have to sleep out every night.
