The Schwartz Foundation is a founding Benefactor for the GPRA (General Practice Registrar Association) which supports General Practice specialisation trainees all over Australia.
For three years, we have supported the “First Wave” project which matches medical students with General Practitioners in their earlier formative years, to increase the awareness of General Practice. This has substantially increased the desire of medical students to strive to enter the General Practice training program once they have graduated.
